01, Origin
Forged in the
Bosnian wild
Bosnian Beast was born from a simple belief: that the most honest spirits come from the wildest places. Ours comes from the mountains of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Where the wolf
still roams
High above the valleys, where the forest swallows the road and the air turns cold and clean, our botanicals grow wild. This is the land of the grey wolf, patient, instinctive, unbroken.
We distil in small batches at altitude, using spring water drawn from the limestone heart of the mountains. No shortcuts. No mass production. Just the wild, captured in a bottle.
"We didn't tame the wilderness.
We bottled it."
Heritage
Hand-distilled, the old way
Gathered by hand
Each season, botanicals are foraged across Bosnian forests and meadows, juniper, wild thyme, spruce tips, and native fruit, picked at peak character.
Rested in spirit
Botanicals steep in a neutral grain spirit, drawing out oils and aromatics over days, not hours. Patience is the first ingredient.
Copper pot, small batch
A single copper pot still, run slow and watched closely. We take only the heart of the run, the cleanest, most expressive cut.
Settled & bottled
The spirit rests with mountain water to 43% ABV, then is bottled and numbered by hand. Every bottle carries its batch and the mark of the pack.
The mark of the wolf
Why the beast?
The wolf is not a mascot. It is the spirit of the brand, everything we want the gin to be.
Strength
Bold, unapologetic flavor. A gin that holds its ground, neat or in a glass full of ice.
Instinct
Distilled by feel and experience, not by formula. The maker's hand in every batch.
The pack
A spirit made to be shared, community, ritual, and the company of others around a table.
